Create Tabs

This is the Landing page for this Tab. To customize the contents of this page, login and click the edit tab on this page. Follow the instructions below to create new tabs or edit this tab. You might want to create all your tabs before altering or deleting this page.

To create a tab follow these instructions:

1. Click "create content" on the side menu.
2. Select "book page".
3. Enter the Title for the page.
4. Select "<top-level>" from the Parent dropdown.
5. Enter the Body Contents for the page.
6. Click on the URL path Settings link to expand the URL options
7. Type the URL path you want for the page with no spaces or leading /. (ie: news or news/mynews)
8. Click on the Menu Settings link to expand the menu options
9. Enter the Title that will appear in the top tab
10. Enter a description (tool tip) for the tab when the mouse scrolls over
11. Select Site Navigation from the Parent item dropdown
12. Choose the weight for the tab (Lower number tabs shift left while higher number tabs shift right)
13. Click Submit

To Create subpages for the tabs create book pages setting the Parent as the appropiate tab. New book pages will automatically apear in the side menu when a tab is active. you may also navigate to a parent item and click the "add child" link on the bottom of the parent page.
